Dimming

Power Flo are available in three versions:

• Digital (DMX) dimming version
• Local dimming version
• Non dimming version

The typical applications of the Dexel Power Flo are for fill light and backlight, both in TV studios as well as for sets and locations of Cinema and Photography. A special mix of matches allows you to achieve fluorescent lamps that offer lighting to combine with halogen and metal vapor lamps such as HMI, without the need to use color correction filters. The fluorescent lamps have a CRI index of 95, which  responds to the sensitivity curves in Cinema and electronic equipment of Videomedia.

The Power Flo is a very light luminaire, 2 or 4 fluorescent lamps, which allows dimming by DMX control or manually using a potentiometer in the same unit.

They use lamps of professional use of type Cinema 32 or Cinema 55 of GE, in models T12 0.60m (2ft) 35W, and T12 1.20m (4ft) 60W or 75W, as well as compact fluorescent lamps of 55W of professional use.

The Digital DMX version allows to interconnect several units of Power Flo in the same system, by means of only one cable, to be controlled from the same console. A cable that comes from a DMX digital console, carries a low voltage signal and interconnects with several luminaires, forming a network that can contain up to 512 units of Power Flo.

Each Power Flo has a digital panel and is given an "address" between 1 and 512 to be identified by the console.
