The Datapath VSN970 is a high-end wall controller designed for complex video wall installations and large control room environments, including military installations, CCTV and security suites, and medical operating theatres. It incorporates the Datapath PCI Express9-G3 switched fabric backplane, providing nine high-bandwidth PCIe slots compatible with Datapath video capture and graphics cards. A single board computer featuring an Intel Core i7 processor supports up to 16GB of DDR3 memory. The backplane delivers one x8 lane slot and eight x4 lane slots for high-speed bi-directional bandwidth, enabling UHD video capture and display with very low latency. The system ships with RAID 1 server-grade hard drives and Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Expansion is possible via additional backplanes connected through an optional expansion kit.
