Used Arri ARRISUN / ARRISUN EVENT series fixtures are a range of highly efficient HMI lampheads widely regarded as a world standard in film and television lighting, available across multiple wattages and configurations. Second-hand units span compact models through to large-scale lampheads, all sharing corrosion-resistant aluminium construction and parabolic reflector technology. The Arri ARRISUN / ARRISUN EVENT series encompasses a broad family of film and television lighting fixtures built around highly efficient parabolic reflectors and corrosion-resistant aluminium construction, delivering extremely even light distribution with lamp focus adjustment. Smaller models such as the ARRISUN 2 and 5 share this core design, while the ARRISUN 18 accepts existing 1200 W lenses and cables, runs from most domestic sockets worldwide, and uses a 1800 W lamp that is more than 70 percent brighter than a 1200 W lamphead. The ARRISUN 40 features a TRUE BLUE housing, a tubular steel yoke with two disk brakes, Compensation for Cable Loss, and cross cooling for safe operation at extreme tilt angles. The ARRISUN 60 adds support for up to ten different INSERT or DROP-IN lenses. Larger models including the ARRISUN 120 follow the same parabolic reflector and easy-service-access design. The ARRISUN 5 Event variant uses high-efficiency dichroic glass reflectors, offers low heat emission from the front of the lamphead, and outputs a daylight colour temperature. Models carrying an IP 23 protection class rating are suitable for a range of production environments.
