The Yamaha PM5D / PM5D RH is a digital mixing console from Yamaha's top-line PM live-sound series, offering extraordinary sound and versatility in a relatively small, lightweight form. Both versions provide 48 mono and 4 stereo inputs, 24 mix buses, 2 stereo outputs and 8 matrix outputs, powered by a custom DSP7 LSI for ultra-high-speed 96-kHz/32-bit processing. The PM5D RH adds recallable head amplifiers, storing gain settings within console scene data. I/O capacity can be doubled or tripled by adding rack-mountable DSP5D units. Built-in VCM (Virtual Circuit Modeling) effects, 8 multi-effect processors and 12 graphic equalizers are included, alongside a virtual soundcheck function with individually assignable channels that requires no complex re-patching.
