The Robert Juliat Cyrano Series is a range of professional lighting fixtures built around a narrow beam angle suited to super-long throw distances found in large theatres and stadia. The flagship Cyrano 1015BS Grand runs a 2500 W HMI source and incorporates a smooth dimmer shutter that retains a flat beam and consistent colour temperature throughout the dimming range. A progressive frost filter on a flip lever enables quick soft-edge beam effects, and both the dimmer shutter and frost filter are DMX-controllable for precise remote synchronisation. Additional features include a fully closing iris cassette with a protective backplate, a gobo holder accepting glass and metal gobos, a six-way self-cancelling boomerang colour changer, individually removable colour frames, CTO and dark blue dichroic filters, an ergonomic one-handed dimmer control, a fast-locking focus handle, a graduated focus scale, an adjustable yoke, and a counterweighted stand with a triple safety system. An optional horizontal chopper is available for masking control in TV studios and wide stages.
