Ways to pay

Payments

Pay the way you already do

Bank transfer, an instant payment from your own banking app, your local method at home, or card. Settling a 10K invoice should take a minute, wherever you are.

Ways to pay

Nothing has been taken away. If you pay us by bank transfer today, that still works exactly as it always has. These are simply faster options for anyone who wants them.

Bank transfer

No charge

To the account details shown on your invoice, exactly as always. No charge in any currency, and the cheapest way to settle with us.

Pay by bank, online

No charge in the UK

Nothing to set up as a new payee. In the UK you approve it in your own banking app with the amount and reference already filled in, at no charge. In Europe you are given euro account details inside the EU, and in the US you are given US account details for a domestic transfer, so it is an ordinary domestic payment rather than an international one. Outside the UK a processing fee applies. The table below shows exactly what.

Every one of them is matched to your invoice automatically, so there is no reference to quote.

Your local method

Processing fee applies

Depending on where you are, you may also see the method you already use at home. Available on euro invoices. These carry the highest charges of any route, so a bank transfer will always cost you less.

Card

Processing fee applies

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The fee covers what the card networks charge us, and we issue a supplementary invoice for it so your records balance.

What each option costs

These are the card and banking charges we are billed, passed on at cost rather than marked up. Your payment link always shows the exact total before you pay.

Pounds No charge No charge – 3%
Euros No charge 2.25% 5% 3.5%
Dollars No charge 3.25% – 4.5%

Why they differ: what we are charged depends on the method and on where your bank is, not on us. A sterling bank transfer costs us a few pounds whatever the invoice is worth, which is why it stays free on every currency.

How it works

  1. We email your invoice as usual.
  2. Alongside it you receive a short email from finance@10kused.com listing every way to pay, each one showing the exact total, so there is nothing to work out.
  3. You click the one you want. The amount is already set.
  4. You pay, we confirm it by email, and your order moves on straight away.

The links do not expire. If your invoice changes for any reason we send fresh ones, and the earlier links stop working.

Paying from outside Europe or the United States

If you are sending a euro or dollar payment from a bank outside those regions, please ask your bank to send it with all charges paid by the sender, usually shown as “OUR” charges.

Otherwise the intermediary banks take their fees from the amount in transit, the payment reaches us short, and we cannot complete your order until the invoice is paid in full.

Making sure a payment request is really from us

  • Payment emails come from finance@10kused.com.
  • Every payment link goes to pay.10kused.com, which is our own domain.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We never ask for card or bank details by email or over the telephone.

If anything about a payment request looks wrong, or you cannot find your link, email us and we will sort it out.
