The LCUBE CUB-1 is a signal converter that allows for connectivity between the ALEXA Mini or ALEXA Mini LF and the WCU-4. It offers two LBUS connectors and one SERIAL connector, and can be connected to the camera via the LCUBE and a daisy chain of cforce motors. This allows for focus tracking and distance readings on the WCU-4, similar to other ALEXA cameras or the UMC-4.
The LCUBE also features an integrated dovetail for easy mounting of the LCUBE Bracket or the CLM-5/cforce mini Clamp Console. It serves as a miniature converter box, converting LBUS protocols to serial protocols and vice versa. Additionally, it can adapt the Ultrasonic Distance Measure UDM-1 to the ALEXA Mini, allowing for UDM-1 readouts on the WCU-4 handset.
