The Color Kinetics ColorBlast TR is an LED lighting fixture built as an industry-standard theatrical and rental wash light with intelligent colour output. Its pivoting bezel accepts a 23-degree soft-focus lens or a 10-degree clear tempered glass lens, allowing quick switching between wash and beam projection styles. An industrial-grade constant-torque hinge provides 110 degrees of fixture tilt with stable, tool-free locking via standard set screws. A pre-assembled mounting base supports floor placement and various stage truss clamps, while an integral safety bracket simplifies safety-cable attachment. On-board temperature monitoring with an auto-cycling feature protects the fixture if operating temperatures reach unsafe levels, and an elastomeric protective sleeve guards against the wear of repeated setups and teardowns. Compatible accessories from City Theatrical include top hats, barndoors, egg crate louvers, and spread lenses.
