The ETC Selador Desire series is a range of professional LED luminaires built for high-intensity output in demanding environments. It includes the D60, a PAR-shaped washlight with 60 Luxeon Rebel LED emitters and the x7 Color System for blending up to seven LED hues, and the Desire Studio sub-range, which focuses on white LED output with colour temperature and skin-tone rendering for television, film, architecture and houses of worship.

The D60 supports DMX512 input and thru via 5-pin XLR, RDM functionality for remote address and setting changes, and a console-free Master/Slave mode. Additional control options include RGB and strobe modes. A 15-bit virtual dimming engine provides smooth theatrical fades with minimal colour shift, and an optional red-shift mode emulates tungsten dimming characteristics.

Up to nine Desire fixtures (with a 15A maximum load) can be linked via the power in and thru connectors. The fixtures require power from a non-dim source. Each unit is rated for continuous operation up to 40°C ambient temperature and relies on active electronic thermal management alongside low-noise fan cooling to maintain stable output.

The Selador Desire series is made by Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC), an American lighting manufacturer known for control consoles, dimming systems, fixtures and rigging across theatre, studio, architectural and live-event applications.
