It is available in four variable zoom configurations covering 29-50 degrees, 15-40 degrees, 10-25 degrees and 8-16 degrees, spanning short to very long throw distances. An extremely narrow 8-16 degree lens tube handles very long throws without requiring an oversized housing. The exclusive G22 socket locking system accepts 2000W and 2500W lamps, holding the lamp securely to prevent arcing even when pointing vertically downward, and contributing to longer lamp life. Silent cooling fans make the 700 SX2 particularly well suited to opera houses and studios where noise is critical.
