Used Vari-Lite VL1100 LED fixtures are LED-based moving head luminaires designed as a direct alternative to traditional tungsten source moving heads, offering high CRI output, CMY colour mixing and tungsten red shift emulation during dimming. The Vari-Lite VL1100 LED is a moving head fixture built around an exclusive low-energy Vari-Lite LED engine, delivering colour reproduction consistent with the tungsten-based VL1100. It features a CMY colour mixing system, a continuously variable zoom range of 19 to 36 degrees with super zoom angles extending to 70 degrees, and a hybrid liquid and forced air cooling system that balances light output against noise. A tungsten red shift emulation during dimming, variable fan control and a colour enhancement channel are included. An S version adds a 4-blade framing system, while an I version incorporates a 16-leaf iris.
