The Vari-Lite VL3000 Spot is a high-performance moving head luminaire powered by a 1200W short arc lamp producing 20,000 lumens. It features a 6:1 zoom spanning 10° to 60°, a CYM color mixing system, a fixed six-position color wheel, variable CTO color temperature correction, three gobo and effects wheels, a mechanical iris, and separate high-performance dimmer and ultra-fast strobe mechanisms. A standard pallet of gobos, effects and colors is included, with custom options available. Both models accept control from a wide variety of DMX512 consoles. The VL3000Q Spot offers the same capabilities while considerably reducing audible noise output, making it suited to productions where silence is critical.
