The SL HYDRUS 350 is a hybrid beam, spot and wash moving head offering a wide zoom range, fast colour changes, a fixed colour wheel with split colour and effect modes, fixed and indexable rotating gobo wheels, an animation wheel, and two rotating beam prisms. The SL LEDSPOT 300 is a more compact moving head focused on precise spot work, adding CMY colour mixing, a CTO filter, four framing shutters with plus or minus 90 degree rotation, an iris, and a frost filter.

The SL LEDSPOT 300 provides CMY mixing alongside a separate CTO colour filter and a fixed colour wheel with five colours. For gobos, it carries a fixed wheel with nine gobos and an indexable and rotating wheel with six images drawn from the VARI*LITE Library. A three-facet circular prism, rotating or indexable, adds beam texture, and a frost filter softens output when needed.

The SL LEDSPOT 300 accepts control via DMX512 through a 5-pin XLR connector or via Ethernet, giving operators flexibility depending on the network infrastructure of the venue or touring rig.

These luminaires are made under the Philips Showline brand, which sits within Philips entertainment lighting alongside Vari-Lite, Strand Lighting and Selecon. That group, now operating under Signify, covers automated moving lights, theatrical luminaires and control systems for theatre, touring and broadcast. The gobo libraries in both SL series fixtures draw directly from the VARI*LITE Library, reflecting the shared heritage between the brands.
