Throughout 2025,  10K Used Gear has travelled across Europe and the United States to attend and exhibit at key industry events. From major international conventions to local trade shows, each stop offered an opportunity to learn, connect, and stay closely aligned with the professionals shaping the future of live production.

Whether we were exhibiting or attending, these events are deepening our understanding of emerging trends, evolving workflows, and the long term value of professional AV equipment – an insight we bring back to support our global community.

Here’s what we did this year:

IBC 2025 – Amsterdam, Netherlands

10K Used Gear attended IBC in Amsterdam, the second-largest broadcast technology convention in Europe. While we weren’t exhibiting, the visit was an opportunity to explore where the broadcast and live events industry is heading. With over 1,250 exhibitors across 14 halls, the show covered everything from broadcast technology and video production to AI-driven solutions. Live demonstrations brought the technology to life — from green screen broadcast setups to creative on-floor moments, including live performances. Attending IBC offered valuable perspective, inspiration, and insight into the future of broadcast and live production. 

LEaTcon 2025 – Hamburg, Germany

10K Used Gear exhibited at LEaTcon in Hamburg, Germany, a major European event for the live event, installation, and entertainment technology industries. The event brought together professionals across lighting, sound, staging, rigging, AV, and production to explore new products and evolving industry trends such as sustainability and AV integration. During the event our marketing team interviewed many of the leading industry brands to gather deeper valuable insights on their industry and newly released products whilst showcase the value of used gear and the buying and selling services we provide. 

BITAM 2025 – Madrid, Spain

We exhibited at BITAM Madrid, a key local trade show focused on connecting with the Spanish AV community. BITAM is Spain’s leading annual international fair for the audiovisual, installation, digital signage, and broadcast sectors, bringing together manufacturers, distributors, and industry professionals. As we have two Spanish speakers within the company we were able to connect in person with our visitors and local clients. 

LDI 2025 – Las Vegas, USA

Although we didn’t exhibit at LDI, the 10K Used Gear team travelled to Las Vegas and immersed themselves in one of the most important global gatherings for lighting designers and live production creatives. LDI is a show where lighting takes the spotlight – from touring and theatrical design to control, programming, and visual storytelling. Attending gave us the opportunity to explore lighting trends, new fixture technologies, and evolving workflows directly from the designers and technicians shaping modern live experiences. The insight gained at LDI helps us better understand how lighting professionals work, what equipment holds long-term value, and how we can continue to support the creative and technical communities we serve through trusted trade in used professional lighting gear. We were also able to interview some of the leading lighting companies in the industry to gain further insights on newly released products.

By connecting with live event professionals through trusted, global trade events, we help keep high-quality professional AV equipment in use and accessible to more people. As new products are released, there’s opportunity to extend the life of proven gear – reducing waste and supporting a more circular future for the industry.
