Ultralight beam

The MegaPointe was launched at The Art of Light in 2017. The world witnessed its impressive 2.2 million LUX parallel beam slicing through any smoke or haze, whilst preserving its ability to travel long distances. In beam mode the zoom ranges from 1.8 to 21 degrees and in spot mode it goes from 3 to 42 degrees, demonstrating high clarity and crisp output through a 150mm diameter front lens with a lumen output totalling 20,375 and an outstanding CRI of over 80.

Multitudes of versatility

The MegaPointe is pre loaded with 12 dynamic beam and flower effects, making it versatile for all genres of production. The ‘beam shaper’ opens the inclusion of further customisation as it can emulate framing shutter effects, forming fully rotatable and indexable rectangular shapes. Its CMY colour mixing system serves alongside users by offering any combination of colour when utilising the ‘light’ and ‘medium’ frost filters.

Movement & Speed

The MegaPointe contains 2 wheels, one of which is a static 14 slot plus open gobo wheel that’s fitted with glass gobos enhancing precision surface projections and ‘in-air’ impressions, and a second wheel containing 9 fully rotatable, replaceable and indexable gobos.

Hotspot

Regardless of most premium moving light fixtures having an adjustable hotspot control, it doesn’t take away from the significance of hotspot control. To put it into perspective, the MegaPointe hotspot control offers more versatility than a pre-programmed series that has a selection of pulse and strobe effects.

Size

Whilst only weighing 22 kg, it complemented ROBE’s commitment to smaller light fixtures that still deliver premium features and qualities.
