ENTERTAINMENT LIGHTNING
In the year 1933, a small group of lighting engineers based in Milan, Italy, decided to form a company in order for the purposes of producing lighting equipment for civil and military use.
The company moved to Castel Goffredo, in the province of Mantua, in 1970. A young local designer with four shareholders added the production of projectors for creative lighting to this initial activity.
In the 1980s Coemar introduced the concept of “intelligent lighting” with the first projector with a moving mirror, the Robot. Above all, it proved to be a turning point in the disco lighting sector.
Despite being hugely successful in this sector, Coemar began to also focus on the theater.
In the 1980s, Mike Lowe, former director of Strand Lighting, joined the theatre company that Coemar had set up. Thanks to this collaboration, the production of projectors for the theatre was increased and improved.
Today, Coemar is in constantly moving in the new technology direction.
