Martin Professional was founded in Aarhus in 1986 and built its reputation first on smoke machines and disco lighting, then on moving-mirror and moving-head fixtures that became standards on touring and broadcast rigs worldwide. The MAC series — including the MAC Viper XIP, MAC III, MAC Quantum, MAC Aura, MAC 700, MAC 550, MAC 350 Entour, MAC 300 and MAC 101 — remains a backbone of rental inventories, alongside the Atomic 3000 LED strobe and JEM smoke and haze machines. Martin has been part of Harman International since 2013.
