PULSAR’S JOURNEY FROM 1966
Pulsar’s roots began back in the late 60s at the beginning of the disco revolution. Founder Paul Mardon made a break-through when he built his first Sound to Light machine in 1966 using valves and relays. This became a game-changing lighting control system for nightclubs and dance halls. He went on to study Engineering and Management at Cambridge University, and in 1970 Pulsar was born as a UK lighting forerunner, with just a handful of dedicated staff.
EMBRACING THE CUTTING-EDGE
Pulsar has always embraced the latest developments in technology, and today is no exception. They have harnessed recent advancements in high-power LED devices to provide their customers with a range of cutting-edge lighting products, including the ever-popular Chroma Range for which they are renowned.
BUILT TO LAST
They have always aimed to design and build products that last. A Pulsar installation stands the test of time, requiring little maintenance after the original fitting. They lead the industry as a dependable yet extremely innovative British LED lighting manufacturer.
