The Barco ScreenPRO-II Series is a multi-layer video display system that uses four image layers, comprising an unscaled background, up to two scaled PiP or key channels, and an unscaled downstream key, to produce sophisticated effects. Features include 10-bit video processing, 1:1 pixel sampling, motion adaptive de-interlacing for SD and HD, and PiP sizing from one-eighth to eight times source resolution with adjustable aspect ratio, borders, drop shadows and soft edges. Keying options cover luminance key, split key and reverse key. An internal 8x2 analog video router is included, along with look-ahead preview, aspect ratio correction, programmable matte, Z-order control for overlapping layers, and output synchronisation to NTSC/PAL blackburst, CSync or HD tri-level sync. The architecture also supports future optional output modules.
